Terms & Conditions

Accommodation card benefits T&C:

  • Valid in Australia, Fiji and New Caledonia only.
  • Rates must be booked through the Star Privilege website, www.starprivilege-pacific.com or through a Starwood Customer Contact Centre, or direct with the Starwood Hotel concerned or by calling 1800 450 010.
  • Valid membership card must be presented on check-in to verify the 10% reduction.
  • Rates available all year round (except when hotel is sold out).
  • Discounted rates are quoted at time of reservation.
  • Limited to a maximum of 9 rooms per booking per night: not valid for group bookings.
  • Cannot be combined with any other special offer or promotion or discount dollar value certificates.
  • 10% Discount is not valid on negotiated, corporate or contracted rates including group rates.
  • To receive the accommodation package “Pay for 5 nights at the Star Privilege promo rate and receive two nights complimentary” at participating hotels in the Pacific only, member must contact the relevant hotel directly or Customer Contact Centre and Quote ‘SCQ’ promotional code and membership number to receive the discount. Valid for a seven night room stay only.
  • Not applicable on any booking made via a travel agency or on a website other than www.starprivilege-pacific.com.
Dining and Beverage card benefits T&C:
  • Only one card may be used per membership per meal period.
  • Card is not transferable.
  • Valid for standard meals (namely breakfast, lunch and dinner) and a valid membership card must be presented when dining, in order to receive the benefit.
  • No discount on service charge.
  • Not to be used for in room dining, minibar, or banquets & events in function rooms
  • May not be available during special events such as Christmas, New Year’s Eve etc. – members should check when booking to ensure the dining benefit is available on such dates.
  • The dining benefit is valid for the food portion of the bill only.
  • Discount can be obtained by producing the Star Privilege Pacific Card at participating hotel restaurants and bars for up to 15 people
  • Only 1 card is accepted per table of guests dining (no exceptions to this). 2 people dining means meals purchased, so 2 meals must be purchased for the discount to be awarded.

General card Membership T&C:

  • Valid at participating hotels in Australia, Fiji and New Caledonia only.
  • Membership is non-transferable and membership benefits have no cash value.
  • Only one member name per card is allowed. Upon receipt of your membership package, the card must be signed by the member before it can be used.
  • Your membership benefits are valid until the expiry date printed on your card.
  • You must present a valid membership card in order to enjoy the membership benefits. The membership benefits are valid for the named member only.
  • The membership benefits cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounted offer and are subject to any applicable terms and conditions.
  • The participating hotel and restaurant listings, membership benefits and any terms and conditions communicated in this or any other Star Privilege Pacific material may be subject to change without notice. Where possible, members will be kept updated on any such changes through the Star Privilege Pacific website, www.starprivilege-pacific.com and the membership e-newsletters.
  • Without prejudice to any other mode of proof, through payment for the Star Privilege Pacific membership a member accepts these terms and conditions, as amended from time to time, and agrees to be bound by them.
  • Starwood Asia-Pacific Hotels & Resorts Pte. Ltd. and its affiliates (collectively "Starwood") reserves the right to cancel or suspend membership at any time if it is suspected that there is any breach of these terms and conditions or the membership is being abused or operated fraudulently. Breach of these terms and conditions, fraud or abuse concerning this membership or usage of membership benefits is subject to appropriate administrative and/or legal action by Starwood.
  • Only one member name per card is allowed; the membership card must be signed by the authorised user immediately on receipt.
  • No commission will be earned by any party in respect of bookings for accommodation pursuant to the membership benefits, even if such bookings are made by or through a travel agent.
  • Lost or stolen membership cards must be immediately reported to Star Privilege Pacific Customer Service: customerservice@starprivilege.com. An administrative fee will be charged for a replacement membership card, which will have the same expiry as the original membership card.
  • Lost or misplaced certificates are not replaceable.
  • Membership benefits may vary, depending on the location where the membership is purchased.
  • The Star Privilege Pacific Programme is void where prohibited by law and all conditions; warranties or other terms implied by law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws and regulations.
  • By providing their information, members authorize Starwood, and its affiliated and subsidiary companies, (the "Starwood Group"): to collect, process and use the data provided for any lawful, Starwood Group business related purpose including marketing and communications with members via electronic direct mail, newsletter and SMS in relation to the products and services offered by the Star Privilege Pacific programme; to store the data at and transmit the data to various location(s), either directly or through its third party vendor(s), as the Starwood Group deems appropriate, throughout the world, whether within members’ country of residence, the United States, or elsewhere.
